In the first sample for Isaiah chapter 60, the Lord makes a connection to the 60th book of the Bible with God’s people being brought out of darkness into his light.

ISAIAH 60
1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light

I PETER 2
9 …that ye should shew (show) forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;

In the second sample, the Lord makes a connection with the phrase shew forth the praises of the Lord.

The phrase “shew forth the praises” appears NO where else in the entire Bible. (KJV)

ISAIAH 60
6…they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD.

I PETER 2
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;
