In the first sample for Isaiah chapter 59, the Lord makes a connection to the 59th book of the Bible with the evil tongue, iniquity, and being defiled.

ISAIAH 59:3
For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness.
4…they trust in vanity, and speak lies; … and bring forth iniquity.

JAMES 3:6
And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that is defileth the whole body.
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
JAMES 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother…speaketh evil of the law…

Isaiah verse 3 connects to James chapter 3 directly with defile, iniquity, and tongue.
Isaiah verse 4 connects to James chapter 4 directly with speaking evil.

In the second sample the Lord makes a connection with defiled hands and sin separating man from God.

ISAIAH 59:2
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity;

JAMES 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

The only prayer God will answer from a sinner is: “Lord Jesus, have mercy on me a sinner, I am sorry for my sin. Please save my soul from hell. I believe you paid for my sin on the cross, thank you for dying for me. Right now I am asking you to please come into my heart. In Jesus name I pray Amen.”

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)

The blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin. (1John 1:7)
