In the first sample for Isaiah chapter 47, the Lord makes a connection to the 47th book of the Bible with man’s sin being uncovered as nakedness before God.

ISAIAH 47
3 Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet (judge) thee as a man.

II CORINTHIANS 5
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

In the second sample, the Lord makes a connection with:

  • People who DO NOT have fleshly wisdom are rejoicing.

ISAIAH 47:10
For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me, Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee…
11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee…and desolation

II CORINTHIANS 1:12
For our rejoicing is this… that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversations in this world…
