In the first sample for Isaiah chapter 50, the Lord makes a connection to the 50th book of the Bible with prediction of the Messiah not being rebellious, but obedient to suffering.

ISAIAH 50:5
…I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my checks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.

PHILIPPIANS 2:8
…and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

In the second sample for Isaiah chapter 50, the Lord makes a connection to Philippians with no man seeking God. The connection for Isaiah verse 2 is found in Philippians chapter 2.

ISAIAH 50:1-2
1…for your iniquities have ye sold yourselves…
2 Wherefore, when I came, was there no man

PHILIPPIANS 2:20
20 For I have no man like minded…
21 For all seek their own not the things of Jesus Christ’s.

In the third sample, the Lord makes a connection with speaking what was learned, and received, and heard, to help a troubled soul.

ISAIAH 50:4
The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary… he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

PHILIPPIANS 4:6
Be careful (worried) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
