In the first sample for Isaiah chapter 9, the Lord makes a connection to the 9th Christian book and the 9th Jewish book with men taking a spoil.
…as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
I SAMUEL 30:16
eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land…
II SAMUEL 3:22
And, behold, the servants of David and Joab… brought in a great spoil with them…
In the second sample, all three refer to establishing a kingdom for ever.
…of his government …there shall be no end… and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it… even for ever.
I SAMUEL 13:13
for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.
II SAMUEL 7:16
…and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
