Isaiah chapter 28 has many connections to both the Jewish and Christian order; below are a few samples.

In the first sample for Isaiah chapter 28, the Lord makes a connection to the 28th Christian book with the words plow, sow, break, ground and clods.

ISAIAH 28:24 Doth the plowman plow all day to sow? Doth he open and break the clods of his ground?

HOSEA 10:11 …Judah shall plow, and Jacob shall break his clods.
HOSEA 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground:

There is only ONE other verse in the entire Bible (KJV) that contains all three of the words sow, break and ground.

There are NO other verses in the entire Bible (KJV) that contain all three of words, plow, break, and clods.

In the second sample for Isaiah chapter 28, the Lord makes a connection to the 28th Jewish book with the sin of strong drink and wine.

ISAIAH 28:7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink

PROVERBS 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

In the third sample for Isaiah chapter 28, the Lord makes a connection to the 28th Christian and the 28th Jewish book with people not hearing and rejecting the knowledge of God.

ISAIAH 28:9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine?…
12 …they would not hear.

PROVERBS 1:29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

HOSEA 4:1 Hear the word of the LORD… because there is no truth… nor knowledge of God in the land.
6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge

ISAIAH 28:23 Give ye ear and hear my voice: hearken, and hear my speech.

PROVERBS 23:12 Apply… thine ears to the words of knowledge.
PROVERBS 23:19 Hear thou, my son, and be wise….
