In the first sample for Isaiah chapter 15, the Lord makes a connection to the 15th Christian book and the 15th Jewish book with the same verse. He also uses Isaiah verse 9 to connect to Ezra chapter 9.

ISAIAH 15:9
I will bring… lions upon him that escapeth…and upon the remnant of the land.

EZRA 9:14
…so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?

HOSEA 5:14
…I will be as a lion, and as a young lion.. I, will tear…I will take away, and none shall rescue him.

In the second sample for Isaiah chapter 15, the Lord makes a connection to the 15th Christian book with weeping, boldness and the removal of beards.

ISAIAH 15:2
He is gone up … to weep… on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut off.
3 …every one shall howl, weeping abundantly.

EZRA 9:3
…I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonished.
Ezra 10:1…the people wept very sore.

In the third sample, the Lord makes a connection to the 15th Jewish book with:

  • the lack of water
  • everything drying up
  • everything becoming desolate

ISAIAH 15:6
For the waters … shall be desolate: for the hay is withered away, the grass faileth, there is no green thing.

HOSEA 2:3
…and make her as a wilderness, and set her like a dry land, and slay her with thirst.
Hosea 13:15 …an east wind shall come, the wind of the LORD shall come up from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry, and his fountain shall be dried up
16 Samaria shall become desolate
