In the first sample for Isaiah chapter 43, the Lord makes a connection to the 43rd book of the Bible with the phrase “that ye may know and believe”.
This exact phrase appears NO where else in the entire Bible (KJV).

ISAIAH 43:10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen:That ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

JOHN 10:38…though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.


In the second sample for Isaiah chapter 43, the Lord makes a connection to the 43rd book of the Bible with the phrase “that I am he”. This phrase appears four times in the book of John, but it only appears TWO other times in the entire Bible.

ISAIAH 43:10 …understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
JOHN 13:19 …when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.
JOHN 8:24 …if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
JOHN 8:28 …then shall ye know that I am he
JOHN 18:8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he


In the third sample, the Lord also makes a connection using the deity of Christ with the words “I am”and“before”.

ISAIAH 43:10 …that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God…

JOHN 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, (truly truly) I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.


In the fourth sample, there is a connection with the Lord being the only means of salvation.

ISAIAH 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no savior.

JOHN 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
