Isaiah chapter 12 is only six verses long, but has at least two connections to the 12th Christian book. In the first sample, the Lord makes a connection with God declaring that his people will use his name.

ISAIAH 12:4
And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.

II KINGS 21:4
…the LORD said, In Jerusalem will I put my name
7…in Jerusalem …will I put my name for ever:

In the second sample for Isaiah chapter 12, the Lord makes a connection to the 12th Christian book with the salvation of God, being known in all the earth.
The phrase “in all the earth” connects Isaiah verse 5 to II Kings chapter 5.

ISAIAH 12:2
Behold, God is my salvation

ISAIAH 12:5
…the LORD; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth

II KINGS 5:15
…now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in Israel:

II KINGS 19:19
O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us… that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.

In the Jewish order of books, Isaiah chapter 12 is obviously connected to the book of Isaiah. However, the Lord also connected all 6 verses of chapter 12 to other chapters of Isaiah. Below are samples for verses 1 and 2.

Sample for verse 1

ISAIAH 12:1
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee: though thou wast angry with me, thine anger is turned away

ISAIAH 48:9
For my name’s sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for thee, that I cut thee not off.

Sample for verse 2

ISAIAH 12:2
… I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength

ISAIAH 26:3
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

“LORD JEHOVAH” in all capital letters appears NO where else in the entire Bible (KJV).
